Crowns

If you’re in search of dental crowns in your local area, we are here to address all your dental crown requirements. At Dentique Dental, we will develop a personalized treatment plan and assist you in selecting the most suitable material for your needs, which may include ceramic, porcelain, stainless steel, or porcelain fused to metal. Dental crowns are known for their durability, natural appearance, and ease of placement.

Dental crowns serve a variety of purposes, including:

  • Repairing damaged or broken teeth, providing added support for strength and function.
  • Reinforcing teeth that have worn down due to grinding.
  • Enhancing the appearance of teeth by adjusting their size, shape, or color.
  • Strengthening a tooth following root canal therapy.
  • Providing stability to neighboring teeth when preparing for a dental bridge procedure.

In most cases, the crown placement process involves two appointments. During the initial visit, digital or physical molds are taken to create a custom crown. A temporary crown will be fitted onto your tooth while the permanent one is being crafted. The final installation of the permanent crown will occur during a follow-up appointment.

Dentures & Partials

At Dentique Dental, we’re pleased to offer both partial and full dentures, ensuring you can attain a healthy and aesthetically pleasing smile through the convenience of a nearby dental professional.

When it comes to providing partial dentures, our process commences with creating a mold of your mouth. Subsequently, these dentures are crafted in a specialized laboratory and expertly positioned in your mouth. Our team makes any necessary adjustments to ensure a comfortable and naturally fitting result.

Full dentures are available for individuals who have lost multiple teeth, either in the upper, lower, or both areas of their mouth. Similar to partial dentures, full dentures are meticulously constructed from plastic or acrylic materials in a specialized laboratory. Our experienced staff ensures that they are comfortably situated and function as intended. Typically, it takes between two and three months to receive a custom full set of dentures.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are precisely what they sound like – implanted replacements for missing teeth. Each implant consists of an artificial tooth root that serves as a stable foundation for the replacement tooth.

The absence of teeth can have a profound impact on your speech, eating habits, and the alignment of your bite, often causing discomfort and inconvenience. Dental implants closely mimic the appearance and function of natural teeth, alleviating any discomfort or functional issues you may be experiencing.

Dental implants are comprised of three key components:

Implant

This screw-like component is surgically placed in your jaw to act as the artificial tooth root.

Abutment

The abutment links the artificial root to the crown, which is affixed on top of the abutment.

Crown

The crown is the visible portion that closely resembles the crowns of your neighboring teeth, often crafted from materials like porcelain or composite resin.

The dental implant process involves multiple appointments spread out over several months, but the benefits are numerous:

  • Durability, performance, and a natural appearance.
  • No alteration of your adjacent teeth.
  • Prevention of future bone loss.
  • Stability of adjacent teeth to prevent shifting.
  • Restoration of bite force and chewing ability.

Once the procedure is complete, maintaining your implants is straightforward: just like your natural teeth, regular brushing and flossing twice a day is all that’s required. However, if you prefer an alternative, we also offer other tooth replacement options, including dental bridges and partial dentures.
