Dr. Patricia Hostyn
DMD
Dr. Patricia Hostyn, born in Hawaii, spent her formative years in northern Virginia. Her academic journey began at Virginia Tech, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences. In 2014, she was awarded a competitive Health Professions Scholarship through the US Air Force, marking the commencement of her military service as a 2nd Lieutenant.

Her pursuit of excellence led her to the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where she graduated with Clinical Honors. Dr. Patricia continued to elevate her expertise by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. Through this rigorous program, Dr. Patricia honed her skills in multiple specialty procedures, encompassing conscious sedation, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, endodontics, implant restoration, orthodontics, 3D digital dentistry, and sleep dentistry.
Throughout her Air Force career, Dr. Patricia showcased her commitment to dental excellence at diverse locations, including Kunsan Air Base in South Korea and Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam in Hawaii. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her family, indulging in hobbies like traveling, hiking, and
cooking.

Dr. Sixto Cornejo Zavala

Dr. Sixto Cornejo Zavala’s career, spanning two continents and multiple specialized programs, places dental education and excellence as cornerstones of his dental style. A native of Ecuador, Dr. Cornejo began his dental journey at the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil, earning his degree in June 2016 after five years of comprehensive training in various dental specialties, with a strong emphasis on surgical procedures.

Driven to enhance his versatility in dentistry, Dr. Cornejo furthered his education at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, New York. There, he completed a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in 2022, refining his surgical and restorative techniques and engaging in impactful research on dental implant success rates.
Dr. Cornejo has since worked as a Periodontist at distinguished practices in Florida. Fluent in English and Spanish, he is committed to fostering trust and inclusivity with his patients, ensuring exceptional care tailored to diverse needs.
When he’s not advancing his practice, Dr. Cornejo continues to engage in his field through ongoing education and professional development in implantology and aesthetic dentistry.
